Our Exclusive 8 Step Natural Stone Care Process

We use an exclusive 8-step cleaning and protection process to make sure you get the best results for your fine natural stone. Our cleaning process includes:

1. Introduction & Inspection - This is just the first step in providing you with excellent service and natural stone care. First, we ask for & document your needs and concerns. We then identify the material and soil characteristics that you are dealing with. We identify and address the potential problems that may occur. We also communicate to you the job cost and the outcome you can expect. Additionally, we determine the proper procedures, cleaning agents & equipment needed to properly clean and care for your home’s natural stone to keep it looking beautiful for a long time.

2.  Job Prep - Believe it or not, this is a critical step that many service companies don’t get right or miss all together. You take pride in your home. So do we. All areas of your home where we will be serving you are prepped for safety to protect you and the contents of your home. We only use the correct PH balanced cleaning solutions specially formulated for the natural stone and grout in your home. We then select the specific tools and equipment to do the job right.

3.  Pre-Condition - This is an important step in insuring we get all of the imbedded soil and spots out of your home’s natural stone. We choose the optimum cleaning solution and apply it to your natural stone, tile and grout to loosen and suspend imbedded soil and spots.

4.  Agitation - Areas are scrubbed by hand using specially designed tools to help release stubborn soils.

5. High Pressure Rinse, Extraction And Drying -Stone or tile and grout are thoroughly rinsed with neutral PH rinses and extracted for maximum cleaning results and minimum residues left behind. This process is repeated until tile is as clean as it can be, then is followed with a “dry-stroke” and “Down-draft” fans (as needed) to hasten drying.

6.  Sealing - The World’s most advanced impregnating “high-solids” sealers are applied to ensure ease of use, maximize repellency and extend tile life and beauty.

7.  Finishing - Surfaces are examined and buffed as needed to eliminate sealer haze, streaks or other minor imperfections.

8.  Walk-Thru Inspection And Discussion - We walk thru and examine the job with you to address any issues and ensure you are smiling!

Polishing: In addition to cleaning and sealing, we excel in certain restorative processes, including natural stone polishing.  Many innovations in technology have allowed for less risky and more convenient procedures to get that “Hotel Lobby Floor” shine! You’ll be amazed by the results that we can get for you and your home.

Color Sealing: Sometimes, deeply stained grout or flat looking stone can be enhanced with color-enhancing sealers or color sealed grout.  Not all surfaces are good candidates for these treatments, but when they are, the results can be wonderful!
